Project snapshot

IGMB delivers targeted bereavement outreach and psychosocial support to marginalized NYC families affected by child loss, including immigrants and communities with limited resources. Through community awareness events, participation in local gatherings, and engagement with healthcare providers, IGMB distributes comfort boxes and links bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings to ongoing support services. This project reduces isolation, enhances culturally responsive access to grief care, and strengthens community capacity to respond to perinatal and pediatric bereavement needs.
