Project snapshot

Tenant Association will build a community vegetable farm for the upcoming grow season. They collaborated with Grow NYC and Brooklyn Bridge Park to secure fencing, soil, compost, mulch, and tools. After fencing installation, they will construct raised garden beds; the board will be asked to allocate funding and residents to volunteer for assembly at the tenant association meeting. The project establishes local food production, green space, and resident engagement, enhancing food access, community resilience, and stewardship.
