Project snapshot

Cynthia Berkshire presents a community-engaged series of four creative-movement workshops, derived from the multimedia performance “VEIL: Two Sisters.” Delivered to three partner organizations, the curriculum integrates breathwork, meditation, improvisation, taught phrases, partner studies, journaling, and group composition, with formative and summative assessments. The project cultivates embodied practices of forgiveness, social connection, and artistic skill-building, enabling cross-pollination among cohorts and pathways for participants to join VEIL performances, thereby strengthening community healing, inclusion, and cultural engagement.
