Life Initiatives Inc. is launching a legal rights education campaign to protect immigrant communities from unlawful detentions and ICE raids. This project will provide accessible, multilingual legal awareness through the distribution of informational flyers in nine languages and pocket-sized “red cards” outlining essential legal rights. These red cards will contain precise legal wording that individuals can use during ICE encounters, offering clear guidance on what to say—or hand over—to assert their rights. By working with legal aid groups, advocacy organizations, places of worship, and immigrant service centers, Life Initiatives will ensure these vital resources reach those who need them most. Volunteers will also distribute materials in high-risk neighborhoods, libraries, and cultural hubs to maximize impact.
