Project snapshot

In our work with Maggie’s Garden in Hamilton Heights, we champion the essence and value of community green spaces amidst the urban backdrop. Our garden thrives through the dedication of neighborhood volunteers. We’re both a garden and a hub for cultural and educational enrichment, hosting musical performances, yard sales, and providing a serene spot for our community members to gather daily. Facing the challenges of urban living, like gentrification and limited access to green spaces, we’re determined to bridge cultural divides and foster inclusivity. We’re expanding our offerings to include bilingual gardening projects, educational art exhibitions, and enhanced musical events, aiming to attract more residents and forge stronger community bonds.
