Project snapshot

Eden Gebre Egziabher, the owner of Makina Cafe, is dedicated to expanding the culinary and cultural value of Ethiopian and Eritrean food while giving back to the community. With the grant, 80% of the funds will be allocated toward payroll, addressing the challenge of labor costs in the food industry. The remaining 20% will be used for marketing and promotional materials to promote their food trucks and catering business, as Makina Cafe aims to reach more customers and create a greater impact in their community through their charitable initiatives, including education, food donations, and financial support for individuals and organizations.
