Project snapshot

Marine Park Alliance operates a Teen Leadership Program that trains stipended youth leaders in stewardship, tool safety, landscape restoration, and leadership theory while expanding cohort diversity through inter-park exchanges. The project scales supervision, alumni coaching, semester Leadership Academies, and an enhanced curriculum—public speaking, conflict resolution, bias awareness—plus external evaluation. By engaging youth in restoration of fire-damaged sites and community outreach, it builds workforce pathways, reduces vandalism and fire risk, and strengthens local environmental stewardship.
