Project snapshot

New Heights Middle School is launching an Advanced Mediator Training & Leadership Series to deepen student mediators’ skills and expand outreach beyond routine conflict resolution. The project provides specialized workshops (restorative justice, nonverbal communication, group conflict management, trauma-informed listening), a student-developed digital Peer Mediation Toolkit (training videos, role-play scenarios, reflection materials), and a regional Peer Mediation Leadership Summit to build interschool networks. This initiative develops mentors, scales mediation capacity, and strengthens community resilience through youth-led conflict resolution.
