NYC Human Resources Administration Youth Be Heard Youth Leadership Council

Union Square, Manhattan

Project snapshot

HRA Youth Leadership Council: Develops an interactive mapping website that aggregates CSV datasets compiled by youth to locate free services for ages 14 to 24—ESL classes, job opportunities, job fairs, food pantries, and hygiene kit distributions—with designated points of contact, downloadable workforce resources, and short explanatory videos. The platform supports multilingual access, user feedback, newsletter distribution, and targeted outreach analytics to maintain current, relevant listings. It reduces barriers to service by enabling warm handoffs and direct connections for youth who lack case enrollment, improving access and enrollment outcomes.
