Project snapshot

Owl’s Head Park Volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the quality and sustainability of their local park in Brooklyn. Recognizing the community’s desire to contribute to the park’s maintenance but unsure how to proceed, my group organizes It?s My Park days, providing tools and guidance for various conservation activities. From garden maintenance to mitigating soil erosion and educating on waste disposal, our efforts significantly benefit the local environment and residents. Certified as Super Steward Care Captain, I and others help further empower individuals by teaching sustainable practices for city green spaces.
