Padre Plaza Success Community Garden’s Each 1 Teach 1 program is a summer youth initiative designed to empower Bronx youth ages 12 to 18, whether they are currently in high school or not. This program provides leadership training, GED preparation, teamwork-based beautification projects, basic carpentry skills, and résumé writing support. Participants will work alongside dedicated adult garden members to learn the value of maintaining green spaces while gaining hands-on experience in carpentry, restoration, and home improvement. Through mentorship and practical skill-building, the program fosters personal growth, community engagement, and workforce readiness, equipping youth with essential tools to succeed in their future endeavors.
