Project snapshot

Practical Knowledge, Inc. launches the Scholarship Sprint Series, a targeted initiative to expand scholarship-readiness workshops into high schools and community sites across Queens and adjacent boroughs. The project delivers 8–10 on-site workshops, strategy sessions, and a pilot Parent Power Hour to equip caregivers, while refreshing printed materials and producing simplified multilingual resources for immigrant families. The initiative reaches underserved students earlier, strengthens school partnerships, and improves long-term college affordability prospects for dozens of NYC youth.
