Project snapshot

PS 19 in Queens is partnering with local artist Rob Anderson to create a unique and colorful playground design on their schoolyard blacktop. The artwork will feature social justice quotes and themes, and the project will be done in collaboration with PS 19 3rd to 5th grade students. This work of art and its accompanying play area will give people from all walks of life a safe and inviting place to enjoy their time outside while promoting positive messages of social justice. The project will also serve as an excellent way for the students of PS 19 to express themselves creatively and artistically.
