Project snapshot

At PS376Q, I?ve seen firsthand how the lack of variety in our current recess setup leads to boredom and disengagement among students. Recognizing this, our community has embarked on a project to create a more inclusive and stimulating recess environment. By introducing diverse activities such as physical games, quiet reading corners, and contemplation spaces, we aim to cater to all preferences and promote holistic development. Our approach involves engaging students, parents, and teachers through collaborative planning sessions, information meetings, and workshops. This initiative reduces negative incidents during recess and ensures long-term sustainability through comprehensive planning and ongoing support.
