Project snapshot

Public School 68 Queens is coordinating an effort to support and beautify the neighborhood park. This work will involve outreach, meetings and planting days with various stakeholders and actors in order to bring them together and facilitate better communication and collaboration between these groups. It will also empower community members – particularly students – to act as stewards of their local park. The expected outcome is a revitalized park that is well-maintained and cared for all year round, creating a sense of unity.
