Project snapshot

Rocking the Road for a Cure Inc’s project delivers culturally tailored breast cancer outreach for the Latino community, producing Spanish informational brochures, instituting diagnosis-phase peer support groups, and providing individualized case management. Services include Spanish-language survivor-led navigation, education on early detection and mammography, and linkage to culturally appropriate food donations. The initiative addresses linguistic, cultural, and access barriers to screening and care, aiming to increase timely diagnosis, adherence to care plans, and psychosocial support among underserved Latina patients.
