Project snapshot
Panadería Comunitaria will deliver free hands-on breadmaking classes teaching traditional Mexican pan dulce (conchas, mantecadas, orejas, bolillos), combining technique and cultural lessons. Six community workshops target residents of an underserved Mexican neighborhood, high school students and local organizations to preserve culinary heritage, build social cohesion, expand food-industry pathways, and connect participants with local support services. Sessions emphasize practical skills, intergenerational knowledge transfer, and workforce exposure to strengthen cultural continuity and local economic opportunity.
