Sensory Garden Group will replace and upgrade the sensory garden’s water supply and install an independent drip irrigation system, eliminating reliance on the nursing home’s backflow-connected line. A certified irrigation specialist will install durable, bed-integrated drip lines to ensure reliable, automated watering. This reduces manual heavy-lifting by older volunteers, restores regular plant care, increases accessibility for over-55 gardeners, and sustains therapeutic and communal benefits of the sensory garden.
