Project snapshot

Shall See Theater implements a two-part community initiative to expand access to culturally resonant theater for East Asian creatives and audiences. It stages a public One Act Festival presenting eight to ten original one-act plays developed by volunteer teams of five to seven via an open call, providing rehearsal space, producing support, mentorship, free admissions, bilingual materials, and post-show dialogues. A curatorial panel and audience feedback will select one play for a full production with stipend-supported development, expanded rehearsal, and a multi-day run, strengthening local artistic pipelines, representation, and community engagement.
