Project snapshot

Sik Gaek will implement the Sustainable Dining Initiative: Greener Korean BBQ, upgrading table-grill ventilation to energy-efficient models, switching to compostable takeout packaging, launching a food-waste-reduction campaign, and producing bilingual signage and media to educate patrons. Partnerships with local composting services and sustainability educators will train staff and engage customers; periodic Green Dining Nights will showcase low-waste menus and mini-workshops. The project reduces the restaurant’s environmental footprint, diverts organics from landfill, and advances community awareness and adoption of sustainable dining practices.
