Project snapshot

As first-generation immigrants, our community members, especially the youth, face significant challenges in navigating education and the job market due to limited resources and systemic barriers. I aim to address these needs through the Talent Development Program, offering targeted resources, training, and guidance. The program’s goals are to provide industry-specific knowledge, job-related skills, and mentorship from experienced professionals. By doing so, we will increase practical experience and job readiness, support school and job applications, and strengthen community relationships through networking events. Outreach will leverage our community network, including Viber, newsletters, and partnerships with local organizations and businesses. To sustain the program, we will secure grants, form partnerships, and engage alumni as future mentors, ensuring the program’s long-term impact and support. This initiative will empower our community and contribute to a more equitable and inclusive New York City.
