Project snapshot

The Flossy Organization in Canarsie, Brooklyn has begun building a new New York ? one where they?ve joined with neighbors to successfully fight against harmful government decisions and fought for investments into transit equity. They are also recruiting six high school students to teach them the tools of organizing through a six-week program during the summer for 10 hours a week. Participants will be enticed with a stipend and community service certificate at the end of the program.
