The Herb Garden will implement a rotating, biweekly immersive arts series—Cinema, Dance, Literary Arts, Music, Painting, and Theater—transforming its open-air site into an accessible cultural venue. Programs include watercolor workshops led by a New York School of the Arts professor, a short film lab with community screenings, community-authored theater production training, and spoken word/music showcases. The initiative increases arts access, fosters intergenerational creative skill-building, strengthens social cohesion, and provides participatory cultural infrastructure for East Harlem residents.
