Project snapshot

Kofa Kollective integrates nutrition, physical activity, socio-emotional learning, and life-skills into a culturally relevant interactive curriculum delivered in weekly 45–60 minute sessions for 10–15 youth preparing to transition from care. The project develops tailored wellness toolkits, trains youth mentors, hosts community wellness events, and produces digital content for sustained engagement. It uses validated surveys, progress tracking, and incentive structures to measure outcomes and retention. By addressing root causes of health disparities, the Kollective aims to generate sustained behavior change, resilience, and improved community reintegration.
