The Sensory Exploration Center is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces for individuals with autism and special needs in the Bronx. Beyond offering workshops, resources, and sensory play, the initiative seeks to establish a dedicated gym and sensory facility, free for low-income families. This space will provide therapeutic activities, socialization opportunities, and critical resources, ensuring children and adults on the spectrum have access to safe, engaging experiences. Through sensory play sessions, parent workshops, and advocacy efforts, the center fosters awareness and support for families in public housing. By bridging the gap in services, the Sensory Exploration Center aims to empower individuals with special needs and create a lasting impact in the community.
