Project snapshot
Vontelle LLC is dedicated to improving the vision health of children in the Crown Heights community through their new initiative, focused on providing free vision screenings and prescription eyewear to foster, immigrant, and homeless children. In partnership with WIN (Women In Need), Vontelle has already provided eye care to vulnerable adults and families, and now aims to extend these services to children who face significant barriers to vision care. The project will remove obstacles to education and daily life by ensuring that children receive the eye care they need, improving their academic performance, self-esteem, and overall well-being. This initiative will foster community connections and awareness of the importance of vision care, ultimately contributing to a healthier, more resilient Crown Heights.
