Project snapshot

Westbrook Community Garden is expanding its work with the pollinator garden as part of an environmental and social outreach program. This includes garden upkeep and new plantings, seed-saving, a beekeeping program, workshops, and work with the local men’s shelter. The project will benefit the community by beautifying the green space for everyone to enjoy and access. Neighbors can participate in hands-on activities such as planting and documenting community history through spoken stories. Overall, this project seeks to make Westbrook Community Garden a more functional green space and accessible to members of the community.
