Project snapshot

Save the Butterflies Project protects and restores local butterfly populations through habitat conservation, native pollinator garden installation, pesticide reduction strategies, public education, and policy advocacy. The initiative implements evidence-based planting protocols, community-led garden networks, outreach workshops, and stakeholder engagement to distribute native plants and influence local pesticide policy. By bolstering pollinator abundance and plant–pollinator networks, it enhances biodiversity, ecosystem services, and local food security, providing measurable ecological and social benefits to the community.
