Greene Developers, a company dedicated to sustainability and affordable housing, would utilize funding to employ local college students and interns to provide them with valuable knowledge and potential full-time employment opportunities. Through partnerships with the City University of New York (CUNY) and Lehman College, interns learn from real estate developers about sustainability, affordable housing, and various aspects of real estate development, architecture, and construction. This initiative addresses the pressing issues of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and creating affordable housing while equipping students with the tools to build generational wealth and contribute to their community’s growth.
