Lady Chow Kitchen, an authentic rural Chinese restaurant, had to relocate and decrease its staff from 16 to 6 due to the pandemic. Despite these challenges, the restaurant is committed to providing hygienic services and deliciously flavored food. If granted any funding, the business would allocate it as follows: 10% for community donations, 10% for employee bonuses and welfare, 30% for menu redesign and delivery box packaging, and 50% for new kitchen equipment and amenities. Lady Chow Kitchen actively participates in the No Kids Hungry project, a national organization striving to end childhood hunger in the United States. Regular contributions to the charity are made from a percentage of the restaurant’s proceeds. In return, To show support and gratitude, Lady Chow Kitchen provides free lunch monthly and on holidays such as Earth Day and National Hugging Day to nearby churches and the New York City Police Department 5th Precinct. Additionally, the restaurant works with donateNYC and City Harvest to donate any unused food regularly.
