Krystal’s Community Garden

At Krystal’s Community Garden, we have been serving our community for over 30 years, inspired by my uncle who transformed the area into a garden. Our legacy spans four generations and countless volunteers who have helped preserve this Bronx treasure. Our first priority is to replace deteriorated garden beds with more efficient corrugated metal ones. The space’s current layout is not accessible for every potential visitor and the unsafe garden beds pose other physical challenges, so we aim to make the space more accessible for the public where we can give tours and educate others through our diverse members’ expertise.
