Literary Freedom Project is promoting literature and social justice through a series of literary-themed restorative conversations. Community members are reading books that delve into racial inequality, criminal justice, gentrification and women empowerment. Guided by facilitators, they are not only exchanging reflections of the assigned materials and connecting to other socially relevant texts and current events.
