I propose hosting workshops to guide organizations through the NYC Council funding process, leveraging my ten years of experience in managing contracts. This includes offering six months of free grant/contract management services to Rosedale Civic Association, Girls Set the Ground Rules, and EdeYouth. By assisting organizations with outstanding contracts, the goal is to secure their reimbursements and streamline the process. I’ll reach out to each nonprofit to assess their needs and progress. Workshops will be promoted via social media and community networks. If needed, I’ll extend assistance to other organizations. This initiative aims to empower nonprofits, especially in my neighborhood, by fostering independence in managing contracts and accessing funding opportunities, ensuring their sustained impact.
