The Parkside Avenue Block Association is actively working to improve their neighborhood by cleaning out the tree pits and building tree guards for the 28 trees on their block. They are removing debris and any existing cinderblocks in order to construct 2×4 and 4×4 slabs of wood around the tree pits. By doing this, they are creating a safe, clean, and beautiful environment for pedestrians and residents alike while also ensuring that their trees remain healthy.
