The Port Richmond North Shore Alliance is an organization that is rebranding and revitalizing the neighborhood. Our project, “Historic Port Richmond- A Clean Bright Diverse Community for ALL to Enjoy,” focuses on enhancing our commercial district. By introducing healthy greenery, seasonal flowers, and environmentally friendly trees, our goal is to bring natural shade and cleaner air to our area. Collaborating with two NYC schools, we’re launching a mentorship program aimed at educating students about maintaining green spaces and the basics of landscape architecture, including hands-on activities like painting, planting, and gardening.
