Our Gardening Project will deepen community connections by encouraging in-person interactions through shared gardening activities. In today’s tech-driven world, especially in NYC, it’s easy to live side-by-side without personal interaction. This project will bring people outside, working together, fostering a lasting sense of community beyond digital communication. Our strong Block Association already connects members via WhatsApp, but this project will enhance those connections through face-to-face interactions. We will promote the project at Block Association meetings, on WhatsApp, and through flyers, inviting everyone to participate. The beauty of our garden will remind us of our collective effort and neighborly bonds. This project will sustain itself through regular maintenance, ongoing support at Block Association meetings, and the dedication of our community members.
