Meet the 2024 New Yorkers for New York


Tanesha Ingram

Tanesha "Coach Tea" Ingram is a Bronx Native and co-owner of The Bronx Collab, a community and coworking space in the North Bronx.

The Bronx Collab, a CitizensNYC grantee partner, assists entrepreneurs through training and mentorship, facilitates a monthly pantry, operates a resource hub for young women, and recently converted an outdoor space into a community garden. To date her small business has assisted over 500 entrepreneurs and served thousands of Bronxites via their community pantry.   

Tea’s life's work revolves around nonprofit coaching, youth empowerment, and community development. She is a mother, mentor, writer and healer. She is committed to transforming the lives of youth, communities and businesses in The Bronx.

Andrea Reyes

Andrea Reyes is a dedicated fair trade advocate, educator, and sustainable fashion matchmaker. She is the Executive Director of the NYC Fair Trade Coalition, a CitizensNYC grantee partner which offers a unique educational experience for ethically-aligned businesses, students of sustainability, and advocates by creating space to incubate and activate local communities. Reyes oversees the Sustainable Fashion Community Center, a welcoming space in East Harlem where the public can engage in clothing swaps, and explore a fair trade gift shop.

As the founder of A. Bernadette, a sustainable fashion mentorship firm, Andrea is committed to educating and incubating businesses, encouraging the integration of sustainable practices into their operations. With a rich background in education, she has taught at prestigious institutions such as Pace University, Kent State, FIT, and currently holds teaching positions at LIM College.

An accomplished author, Andrea has been published by Bloomsbury Publishing with her work titled “Apparel Costing.” Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in business administration at Pace University, she focuses on ESG policies within the fashion industry, showcasing her dedication to advancing sustainable practices in the business realm.
