P.224Q School Garden Program is an inclusive, hands-on initiative designed to support students with disabilities through sensory-rich learning experiences. The program creates a therapeutic, engaging environment where students connect with nature while enhancing their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. By interacting with various textures, scents, and sounds, students increase sensory awareness and develop essential life skills such as planting, watering, and understanding plant growth cycles. Collaborative gardening tasks foster social skills, teamwork, and communication, while the garden also serves as a calming space that promotes emotional well-being and teaches coping strategies. With a focus on sustainability and healthy food choices, the program encourages students to take ownership of their tasks, building confidence and independence. Ultimately, this initiative provides a holistic learning experience that complements academic goals, nurtures personal growth, and fosters a deeper appreciation for the environment and responsibility.
