Project snapshot

Project Alpaca will design and facilitate eight live AI workshops for 20 students, covering historical context, machine learning, deep learning, large language models, computer vision, and ethics. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on projects to build practical skills, leverages mentors from leading tech firms as advanced practice instructors, and incorporates train-the-trainer sessions to enable peer and neighborhood dissemination. The initiative cultivates AI literacy, ethical deployment, and workforce readiness in underserved communities.
