Blacklining Foundation’s Plant, Grow, Harvest, Feast: A Farm-to-Table Journey combats food insecurity while promoting financial literacy. This hands-on program guides participants through the full cycle of sustainable food production—from planting and harvesting to preparing culturally relevant, nutritious meals. By incorporating financial education, the initiative also teaches individuals how to budget for healthy eating, reduce food costs, and explore urban agriculture as a potential income source. Unlike traditional food assistance programs, this initiative empowers residents with long-term solutions by providing the knowledge and skills to grow their own food and make informed financial decisions. Participants will document their progress in journals, creating a personal roadmap for success.
