Project snapshot

The pizzeria owner’s passion for opening a pizzeria stemmed from their father’s love for making pizza and the hard work he put into it. After experiencing the closure of their father’s pizzeria due to increased rent costs, they fulfilled their promise to open their pizzeria in the Bronx. Despite the challenges faced during the pandemic, they continued to provide free food to hospitals, shelters, churches, and non-profit organizations. The grant will help them address their financial debt from the pandemic, implement efficient payment systems, enhance safety measures, provide paid training for employees, collaborate with local vendors, and improve the storefront of the pizzeria.
