Project snapshot
Building 28 Association is expanding its community outreach by launching a bi-monthly food pantry to provide essential support to seniors, families, and individuals in need. This initiative will ensure consistent access to nutritious food by partnering with local organizations to source fresh produce and essential items. Volunteers will assist with organizing, packing, and distributing food, with additional support available for elderly, sick, and homebound residents who require deliveries. In addition to food distribution, Building 28 Association will host four community events featuring nutrition experts and cooking workshops, educating participants on healthy eating and practical meal preparation. By combining immediate food assistance with long-term nutritional education, this project will strengthen food security and promote overall well-being within the community.
