Project snapshot

IDENTITIES is a photography and interview project initiated by a family of Japanese and Haitian heritage during the pandemic. The project aims to capture and explore the experiences of biracial and multiracial individuals, delving into the complexities of mixed-race identities. As part of their work, they will host an informal dinner or brunch event where subjects and other audience members can engage in artist talks, fostering dialogue and connection within the community.
