Project snapshot

Mirror in the Woods Tea House is hosting a public art exhibition featuring contemporary Japanese artists to enrich our neighborhood and promote cross-cultural understanding. Despite our community’s artistic vibrancy, access to Japanese art is scarce. This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience diverse aesthetic sensibilities and creative insights, deepening appreciation and fostering interconnectedness among residents. Through our website, social media, and launch events, including artist-led tours and cultural programs, we aim to engage the community and strengthen bonds through shared artistic experiences. Post-grant, the exhibition will tour, funded by fees and art sales, to continue its impact, promoting cultural enrichment and global artistic literacy.
