Project snapshot

PS 13 Garden Beautification Club: expands school garden infrastructure and after-school program to support biannual planting cycles, hydroponic stations, and sensory/outdoor classrooms. The project supplies tools, seedlings, soil, and parental volunteers to enable students to plant, harvest, and donate produce to community partners, while offering a 10-week club with hands-on activities (seed starting, planter construction, art, and stewardship). It aims to increase food access, experiential STEM and social-emotional learning, and student confidence.
