Project snapshot

The Rainbow Garden of Life and Health is a community garden located in the poorest congressional district in the United States, serving as green abundance in our food desert. With food insecurity being an issue, this garden provides hundreds of pounds of produce each season, benefiting our community with fresh, organic food that would otherwise be costly. Each year, we host an open house to kick off the growing season, promoting inclusivity by improving wheelchair accessibility and engaging those with physical disabilities. By installing paver walkways, we ensure everyone in our community, regardless of mobility, can participate in gardening.
