Project snapshot

We seek to expand our work to include low to moderate-income New Yorkers living in the South Bronx. By organizing furniture pop-ups with existing tenant associations, we can quickly distribute items from an accessible location. We will promote these events through community flyers and calls for volunteers. These pop-up furniture giveaways will positively impact many families, providing a much-needed service. Expanding our reach beyond Morris Houses and Claremont Consolidated, we will make a significant change by repurposing office furniture for families in need and supporting community-based organizations offering free programs. This initiative helps families and lessens our carbon footprint by recycling furniture.
