Project snapshot

Garden Monthly Work Days are essential to activate and engage our community, addressing the South Bronx’s limited green spaces. These workdays aim to maintain our garden, making it safe and welcoming while empowering new community leaders. We will conduct outreach through familiar channels: contacting teachers at Bronx Regional High School, communicating with local residents via text and calls, utilizing Instagram, and distributing flyers at the library, juice bars, and around the neighborhood. This approach will attract both current and new community members. These monthly gatherings will strengthen relationships as neighbors work together.
