Project snapshot
Weeksville Community Garden will install a volunteer-led greenhouse to expand year-round fresh produce production. The project includes site clearing, greenhouse construction, and community engagement to fill seasonal gaps in local food supply. The structure will enable extended growing seasons, early seed-starting, and cold-season vegetable production, allowing Sunday produce distributions to start earlier and continue into winter. By increasing steady local output and reducing reliance on volatile markets, the project strengthens Weeksville food security and supports equitable access to fresh, affordable produce.
