Project snapshot

Sue Rock Originals, a sustainable manufacturer of apparel and home goods for the plus-size customer, will utilize the grant to support manufacturing their merchandise for the summer season. Their outdoor blankets and other products will be featured at the New York Handmade Collective’s Pop Up shop during the Celebrate Brooklyn Music Festival, providing an opportunity to reach a wider audience. With the proceeds from sales and the grant’s support, Sue Rock Originals aims to close the year strong, creating a core group of samples for their Fall 2023 collection while continuing their mission of empowering survivors of domestic violence and fostering intergenerational work opportunities.
